It became a part of the Nadol kingdom in the 12th century. The Somnath Temple is the oldest temple in Pali. This place was a birthplace of Maharana Pratap which is known as dhanmandi pali. The boundaries of Pali extended to adjoining Marwar, Mewar and Godwar or Godwad during the period from the 10th to the 15th century. The Rajput power of the area was disintegrated after the defeat of Prithviraj Chauhan. Lakhotia Garden
A pride of Pali is these popular gardens which are surrounded by the Lakhotia Pond. One of the popular tourist spots is Lakhotia Garden in the city of Pali. Temple of Lord Shiva is also situated in the middle of the garden which is one of very old and beautiful temples this was a more special thing in Lakhotia Garden. It provides the garden a picturesque feel to being surrounded by a water body in three directions. It is huge gardens have lots of green, open and clean spaces which are awesome and best spot to sit down have a chat. This garden is known as Lakhotia Garden because it is surrounded by the Lakhotia pond and has a beautiful engravings and façade. During the day time the pond serves for amazing viewing.

Parshuram Mahadev Temple
A Shiva temple is Parshuram Mahadev Temple which is located at border of Rajsamand and Pali district of Rajasthan in India. It is believed that Parshuram was the sixth avatar of Lord Vishnu the cave is made with his axe and used to worship the Lord Shiva in the foothills of the Aravalis mountain range at this serene place. The person gets the chance to witness and seek the blessings of the Lord at the end is a reward. Bangur Museum
A most famous museum in Pali city is Bangur Museum which is located very close to the Pali’s old Bus stand and exhibits are rare collection of pretty, ancient and historical artistic items like arms, costumes and coins. It has one of the most magnificent collections of arms and painting which describe the Rajasthan culture. Many interesting coins which are related to rulers such Khilji and Tughlak are here. From utensils the museum also displays traditional arts and crafts ranging to ornaments which provide an idea about the culture of regional and local. Jawai Dam
One of the biggest and 70 year old dams of western Rajasthan is Jawai Dam which is situated of pali district in sumerpur tehsil. A very quaint and picturesque one is the Jawai dam which having in the dam’s backdrop enhances the overall look. A dam built is Jawai Dam which across the Jawai river and tributary of Luni river. From different parts of the world in winter to escape the cold, the place is also a migrating location for birds. The main water supply source of district of Pali and Jodhpur is Jawai Dam. Irrigated through this Dam are many villages of Pali and Jalore besides this. At the dam you may also see hyenas and bears quenching their thirst.

Om Banna Temple
Near Jodhpur, India a shrine located in Pali district is Om Banna which is devoted to a deity in the form of a motorcycle. Very interesting temple and place such no other is this temple. The local police took his bike to the police station during investigation. But the bike appeared once again at the accident spot in the next day. Both in terms of commercialization and belief but the shrine is quite such any other temple. After ‘Om Singh’ the temple is named but a common term is Banna among the Rajasthan’s Rajput to address a newly- wed groom and a boy. This temple is also come to be known as the Temple of Bullet Baba over the time. Nearby travelers and visitors stop and pray to the bike and late Om Singh Rathore every day.
